PARIS

So close to the end.. We are now in Berlin, our last city before we head back to Rome for a night and then catch our flight home. Sad? Happy? Both? Conflicted much?

Well before we get into that, let us tell you about Paris!
Its was as expected; an amazing city.
The Eiffel Tower really is, big.
The Champs-Élysées really is, expensive.
The catacombs really are, full of bones.
The Mona Lisa really is, mysterious. (what does she know that we don't?!)
The people really are, french. ..well, they really do wear berets and eat baguettes.
Oh! And Disneyland really is, the greatest place on earth!! :D

Yeah, that's right, we went to Disneyland! If I could, I'd live there.
We had so much fun acting like the two biggest kids ever, the stupid grins couldn't be wiped off our faces. Even when Ashlinne accidentally accompanied me on a roller coaster.. boy was she surprised. It looked so tame from the outside, but what you didn't see is the massive maze of a track inside the shed it disappeared into. I want it stressed i didn't trick her, i was just as surprised as she was, i just enjoyed it more :P.

We unfortuantely could not go to the top of the Eiffel Tower due to maintenance, but we got to go to the second level, which is still very high (669 steps to be precise) . And not only that, we got to ice skate on the Eiffel Tower. They had a ice skating rink set up on the first level; a brilliant idea i think, for free too.

Climbed the Arch De Triump and the Sacre Coeur which has the best 360 view of Paris, saw the Notre-Dame, went underground to the catacombes, saw Jim Morrison's final resting place, went to the Louvre museum (huge), ate a lot of Camembert on baguette, and what ever other random stuff we stumbled upon.

And we met an awesome French guy named Wayne (not very french?) but his mother is Australian so he spoke fluent English and he was a champ.
